About Us…
I am a Senior Occupational Therapist and Founder of Harbour Lights Children’s Occupational Therapy, with experience supporting children and adolescents across hospital, community, school, and disability services in both London and Ireland.
I hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and began my career working within leading London hospitals in acute care and stroke rehabilitation before specialising in paediatric occupational therapy. I later worked as a Senior Occupational Therapist with Barts Health NHS Trust, supporting children with complex disabilities within a family-centred multidisciplinary team. During this time, I also gained experience working within specialist educational settings across East London.
Since returning to Ireland, I have continued working within Children’s Disability Services, supporting children and young people with a wide range of developmental, sensory, physical, and emotional regulation needs, including Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Cerebral Palsy.
I have a particular interest in play-based, child-led, and functional approaches that support children to participate more confidently in everyday life at home, in school, and within their communities.
I have undertaken additional specialist training in advanced bi-manual therapy with Brian Hoare, sensory-based interventions, trauma-informed practice, and the CO-OP Approach — an evidence-based intervention supporting children to develop practical problem-solving skills for everyday tasks.
I have also completed medical legal expert witness training and can provide Occupational Therapy expertise in medico-legal cases requiring specialist paediatric Occupational Therapy opinion.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and individually tailored to each child’s strengths and needs. I work closely with families to establish meaningful goals and provide practical strategies that support long-term confidence, independence, and participation.
